Certificate of Incorporation

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, citizens of the United States, of full age, and all of us residents of the State of New York, desiring to become a corporation pursuant to the Membership Corporations Law of the State of New York, do hereby certify:

1. The particular objects for which the corporation is to be formed are to promote and strengthen the bonds of good-fellowship between its members; to encourage and maintain mutual understanding and confidence between Columbia and her graduates; to uphold the influence and further the interests of Columbia University.

2. The name of the proposed Corporation is "Society of Older Graduates of Columbia."

3. Its operations are to be conducted principally in the City of New York.

4. Its principal office is to be in the City of New York.

5. The number of its Directors is nine.

6. The names and places of residence of the persons to be its Directors until the first annual meeting are as follows:
